Re: Samsung t220hd buzzing sound after repair

I just disassemble the monitor, and found out that the noise is coming from the 2 ccfls i changed but now with the case open the noise is decreased to a minimum. Any ideas ? should i change the wiring (do i need a special type of wire or a wire with similar thickness will do? Or this indicates an even greater problem ?

Today i fixed my old lcd monitor (2sec to black problem), replace 2 ccfl's that wer bad, the inverter and all the capxon caps with[B] lets say[/B] Panasonic caps, i dont trust my local shops but this was all they had ! So now the monitor is working fine but whenever i try to change the color tone from dynamic to typical or movie mode the monitor is making a buzzing sound this also happen when i lower the backlight and some other things to the menu. The monitor is working fine only under dynamic mode :/ Im too tired to reopen it right now but the sound is definitely coming from the psu so probably...

Hello, i have a samsung t220hd monitor with bad caps (sam young) i'm into the proccess of buying some good quality caps and replace them but my knowledge is limited so my questions is, what caps should i buy ? And second my monitor was taking too long to open from standby or by pressing the button, some other guy had this problem too and solved it by replacing the caps with different uf caps should i do the same ?

450v - 120uf x1

so i did this i took out some nichicon caps from a dfi mobo i solder them on the modem :P The modem runs faster no dc as for now 12+ hours Yeah i didn't notice at the beggining but the nichicon caps are 16v ... anyway the modem runs great i replaced 7 of the 10 caps and i'm pleased with the result
If i run caps with bigger farad rating it will be ok ?

i don't think that they have this info on them :P I will try to take some good quality pics and i will try to measure the caps ....

Hi, guys i'm a new member here and i would like to try my first cap replacing on my old adsl modem/router, the modem is really unstable and i'm gonna try chaning the caps for better stability i'm good at soldering but my knowledge about caps is limited, so the mobo of the modem has 10 caps here is the list:

Jackson 3300uf 16v
Jackson 470uf 6.4v (x4)
Jackson 1uf 50v
..... 47uf 35v (x2)
hermei 1000uf 16v
Jackson 470uf 16v

So what brand capacitors should i order ? Should i orcer caps with higher capacity ? What do u suggest ?
