I had trouble de soldering the old dc powerjack and got too impatient and damaged the traces in the process. I believe I damaged the inner layers of those three traces and tried to sand the mortarboard like the video below shows but the laptop still didn't work. Would I need to also sand the bottom and connect it to the top with an eyelet? My main question I wanted to know is there a way to solder the dc powerjack unto the next following test points if so how would I find them?
