Working on a Dynex DX-LCD32-09, originally had no picture. Found shorted cap on Tcon board and replaced with a temporary 10uf 50v cap since the cap that was in parallel with it was 10uf. Picture is restored but the left half is green as shown.I have been able at sometimes to adjust it out with the brightness control but not always. If I can get it adjusted out it will still leave a green verticle line in the center of the picture. Also when a movie is played the colors seem to be ok on the left side but there are green streaks surrounding whatever image is there. Any suggestions?

Capacitor value needed
I have a 32 inch Dynex model DX-LCD32-09 with a TCON board CPT320WF01CVB that has C917 shorted. I removed the cap and the picture was restored. Anybody know what value the cap is?

Hi all,
My name is Tom and I have been working on consumer electronics for 30 years, now with that said I feel old,Still have my first Heathkit clock I built as a teenager. I prefer to work on old tube radios and televisions and things that can still be repaired at a component level.
