I do not have power at either. It's odd because I watched and helped test both after changing out the capacitors.

Sorry about the confusion. I used to be able to test this stuff but, with old age comes bad eyes, ha!

I plug the power in and try to read the 5v pins. I get a reading and then it drops to 0?

I dusted off the old reading glasses and tester! ha! When I read the 5v, it drops and goes to 0. I tried a few different things and I might have to go back to those original capacitors being bad?

That's what my friend kept telling me. He assured me that the power supply was good when I left his shop. I watched and helped test the 24v and it looked ok to me.

It's my brothers old tv, wondering of he gave me the correct power cord? It's a 10amp 125v cord.

I think my meter is messed up because I am not reading anything. My friend who did the capacitor change, measured the voltage while I was there and everything was reading correct. He said the board was working like it should. Brought it home, hooked it back up and now it just does a quick blue power light flash and nothing.

Same board as original post, will try to get a couple uploaded ASAP!

Voltage readings were correct according to my friend who put in the new capacitors at the 5v pins. I can test them but, would probably need help, lol!

Just odd that the power light does a quick blue flash and then nothing.

Replaced them, still nothing. When I plug the tv in, the power light flashes blue for second and then turns off.

Any ideas?...
