Re: Trouble with Samsung LCD LNT4671FX/XAA
That's what I figured. Aside from eBay, any recommendations for selling the components?
Who wants them?

Bummer. Yes I did understand your last post, I just wanted to see if there was any other thoughts that people had.
I suppose replacing the panel is pricey....?

I unplugged both LCD flat cables and plugged in one at a time. One of them did not make a difference, and the other gave me this:...

Re: Trouble with Samsung LCD LNT4671FX/XAA
Thanks for the reply
1. I have only replaced 1 capacitor so far. The original dead one was a 2200uF-10V and I replaced it with a 2200uF-25V. It is not a low-ESR but is rated for 105*C (it says LHK on the capacitor)
2. The backlight works, but the screen remains black.
3. I am contemplating replacing the other 4 capacitors to be safe.
4. New link to video (youtube)

Trouble with Samsung LCD LNT4671FX/XAA
Hello,
I have a Samsung LN-T4671F(LNT4671FX/XAA) and am having some trouble getting it to turn on/display/respond. Basically, it turns on, the IR (power light?) and source light flash for a bit I can see that the backlight is illuminated, but it does not respond to any button presses on the remote or TV. I can turn it off, but that is it. Also, I noticed that if I press buttons on the remote, the IR light (power light?) illuminates with each press.
I have read many many threads about the Samsung capacitor lawsuit (which I think I missed the window for) and I know my TV was...

Re: New Members - please post your introductions here
Hello, I am having some trouble with my Samsung LCD TV. I have read about the capacitor-lawsuit and my TV qualifies. Unfortunately I missed the window.
I opened the TV and replaced one bad capacitor, but my problem still remains.
