So I did what Ali as instructed shorted both PIN 3 and 4. To do the Auto-Gen-Test. I also Disconnected the LVDS cable on the control board. Plugged the TV in and turned it On. Screen is still the same andTest wont go further as it cycles ON and OFF. I disconnected the TV from the wall after the third cycle. Here's the video of the result. Ok I did shorted the pin 3 and 4 on the t con, then unplugged the LVDS between tcon and mainboard. Plugged the tv back and turned it ON. It chimed and the screen just stays black/blank.

Thanks for the quick response, when shorting pin 3 and 4 do I have to unplugged the TV first from the power source?

I recently acquired a Samsung PN50b550t2f (PN50b550t2fXZA). The previous owner informed me that the TV turns ON but it has a bad picture/video it has distorted lines. So I was able to confirm this when I got home and tested the TV. Like he said upon a first initial power introduced to the unit I heard a 2 clicks from the power supply 1 click ... (5 seconds interval) then a 2nd click. Then a Samsung chime then the Screen powered up all I could see is just a bunch of lines or distorted video (or should I cay like a sand?)

So, I opened the back of the TV....

I am new to this forum. I just registered here to get help on fixing a 50" Samsung Plasma HP s5053. But I will first look up and search any previous post of anything/repaired/solved issues about this TV here before posting a New Thread.
