Re: Transistor for TV problems
This might be a dumb question but do i have to get the exact same Voltage regulator model number or just the same volt number if a voltage regulator tested bad?Last edited by Cue; 05-15-2015, 06:17 PM.

Is there a voltage regulator on the vizio main board? Or only on the power board?...

Re: Transistor for TV problems
What's the difference between a voltage regulator and a transistor? They both look the same right?...

Can a eeprom fix this issue? And what's under that metal rectangle in the middle of the main board?

Re: Vizio E470VL tv problems
I did another reading on the 12v, now it's 0.00,I'm still hearing cracking sounds on the power board, and now the Vizio logo stays on orange light....

Re: Vizio E470VL tv problems
Also after doing readings on three surface mount fuses, I notice the orange logo would change to white all of a sudden, and I would hear crackling electric sounds Coming from the power board at random times whenever I turn the tv on.

Re: Vizio E470VL tv problems
Can voltage regulators be An issue on this model? Can I test regulators on the board? What would the volts be for a healthy regulator on this board?
