No, but the problem just healed itself after a few days, oddly. I can see the bios appear now. Maybe something in the new caps just needed breaking in or such. Strange, but happy I am now!

Weird display symptom - post recap
I just put new caps in my viewsonic vx922, and after fussing with my lousy solder joints 3 times, got it back to life.
But now, the display doesn't light up til windows begins loading, i.e. I can't see the bios page. Very very strange, anyone have a clue what could be going on?
