    hi guys, just wondering if anyone has any more ideas on troubleshooting steps I could take? If not I will order a new y buffer and y sustain board in the next few days.

    Yes I had heard the same. Are you talking about a set where there is an upper and lower Y buffer or do you mean remove one of the X and Y buffers? My set has a single Y buffer board; I have tried disconnecting it from the y sus but there was no change.

    Hi all,
    I have been reading these forums for a while trying to fix my TV and it's been a great help, but now I am stuck and am hoping for some advice. I have a Samsung PS51D550C1MXXY plasma, built in 2011. My brother was watching it a couple of months ago and heard three cracks and then it went dead.
