Re: Samsung power supply Capacitor
Alright, I installed the 250pF capacitor, just to try it out. Plugged the TV back in, and.... nothing. Reopened the TV and tested the fuses. It turns out, one is fine, but the other is bad. The markings on the bad ceramic fuse read T6.3AH250VP. I've found a couple obscure websites selling that part number, but was surprised not to find it on the Mouser site, as it seems like they have most everything. Am I searching wrong?
Since it seems I won't be able to find it locally, I will probably order it, along with the caps you recommended....

Re: Samsung power supply Capacitor
Thanks again for the reply. Microcenter didn't have what I was looking for, so I visited another electronics supply store today. Unfortunately, neither did they. They recommended ordering it online. The guy there DID find a 250pF 1KV capacitor in stock. He gave it to me at no charge, because he didn't know for sure if it would work. Do you see any reason not to try this one? Is there any risk of harming other parts on the board, or would it just not work? I don't mind ordering the correct ones online, but if this one may work, I would like to try...

Re: Samsung power supply Capacitor
Great! Thank you for your reply. I am looking to buy this locally somewhere, so I can get it fixed sooner than having it shipped if possible. Of the 3 numbers (220pF, 5%, and 1KV) which ones need to be exact, and which (if any) can be adjusted? I found that Microcenter has a capacitor assortment set. In the product description, it mentions that there are 220pF capacitors, but doesn't specify which KV or %.
From your response, it looks like I do need 220pF, and either 1 KV or 2 KV? is there any other KV that would work if those aren't...

Re: Samsung power supply Capacitor
Sorry this is an old thread, but it seems very much like the issue I'm running into with my Samsung LN46b630N1 LCD tv. I was watching the other night, heard a loud pop, and everything went black. I'm very much an amateur at this type of thing, but after doing some research it sounded like the same capacitors go bad on a lot of these Samsung LCD's and there was a lot of info on how to replace them, so I popped the back off. Unfortunately, (or fortunately I guess) all the capacitors that I expected to be bad looked fine at first glance. After further...
