It'll do it right when you turn it on. But i see what your saying. It could heat up instantly.
I think its in the AC to DC allowing AC to leak thru causing noise?

Just something i've noticed on the Rubycon list.
When you click on a link it will show different values on that page for the Cap vs what is showed in the over all table. Example
1000uF 6.3v MBZ 8mm 11mm
open the page it shows
1000uF 6.3v MCZ 8mm 12mm
What is the real size of the cap? 11mm or 12mm? Is it MBZ or MCZ?
I'm sure there are more errors but that's an example.Leave a comment:

Klipsch 5.1 Hissing/Backround noise
I've got the Klipsch 5.1 ProMedia PC speaker setup. Recently I started hearing hissing/static/ popping/noise coming from all the speakers no matter if its plugged into the soundcard or not. Tried different power cords, different power outlets. Anyone have any ideas? Does it sound chink cap related?
Sometimes it will go away for a while and they sound awesome, then the static will come back and stay for a while. Power cycling does nothing. -

Yellow is the x14 Nichicon 1000uF 6.3vs
Green is the x4 Rubycon 6.3v 1500uF MBZ
Red is the x3 KZG 3300uF 6.3v

I'm not very familiar with each circuit so i dunno where VRM in/out is.

Okay, I got the board out and I'm trying to identify one of these. Its Black and White. says HM(M) 105C A0304 then in small print i can't make out what the first letter is but may be Nichicon. Its a 1000uF 6.3v have at least 5 those around CPU area. Another problem bloating one is KZG 3300uF 6.3v.
Also has some smaller GSC around the board 100uF 10v
I added some pics my camera isn't the best but give me an idea which caps I should do....Leave a comment:

Its on an Antec TrueBlue I already did all the troubleshooting. Tried other PSUs to the same effect.

Hey guys, I've got a Gigabyte GA-8INXP board. It failed a while ago slowly starting locking up. Finally one day I reset it and it wouldn't post. If I turn it off and back on enough times it will finally post and load windows then just hard lock. But once I completely remove power from PSU it starts all over. Have to power cycle a bunch of times until it'll post. I just recently learned about the "bad capacitor" ordeal. So I looked over the board and for sure can identify 2 capacitors leaking from the top. I'm not sure what brand they are *boards still mounted in case*.
