Hello all!
I have been working at a Vizio vo47lfhdtv10a. I am at a point where I am confounded. I replaced 2 680uf 35v caps on both the slave and master that were bulged. Nothing. Then I found bad 470uf 35v under the heat shield on main power. I replaced it with a 1000uf 35v that I had. My understanding on that it is ok to go equal or higher. Still nothing. What has me baffled is I am supposed to have 0 voltage on pin 1 power on/off but I have 15.5v when tv is off but 3.13 when I power on. These were the readings even before I changed the caps. Any help?
Thank you,
...

Re: Sharp 60" LCD TV Aquos LC-60LE650U image issues
Thank you freakaftr8 for your replay,
If you look at the last picture, it shows half the panel working fine when the other half is unplugged. That made me rule out the panel failure. Pressing on the tab bonds does not make any difference.

Sharp 60" LCD TV Aquos LC-60LE650U image issues
Hi,
I have a Sharp 60" TV Model LC-60LE650U LCD TV. The picture is darker, distorted and keeps getting horizontal dark flashing lines or bands.
The things I have done:
1. Tap and twist the edges screen, nothing happens and picture remained the same.
2. Ordered new T-con card, problem remains.
3. I thought of taking one ribbon out of the t-Con and turn the unit on, then half of the screen went white and the other half remained having the same problem.
4. I put the one I disconnected back, and disconnected the other one ... then...

Re: New Members - please post your introductions here
Hey guys,
My name is Abe.
I used to do computers repair, software and hardware, but when my friend's TV died, they asked me if I wanted to have it, and said yesIt was a 32" Kodak LCD. I opened it, and it was my first tv to open. I immediately noticed 3 bad capacitors. Ordered them online with my first cheap soldering gun (still have it.)
Few days I had nice running tv.
That got me in working on tv as really for fun and some extra money.
Happy to be here.
