There is no backlight Tom, that's why I said black - I'd have mentioned if it was glowing as I know the difference....

Has anyone ever fixed this problem? Was it the PSU?
I have a 42LE4500 that now has a black screen with sound.
In a traditional LCD TV I would just replace the inverter but this set doesn't appear to have one. So does the PSU also act as the inverter in this case?Leave a comment:
