  • Re: Dead Vestel 17IPS20 power supply repair (OK fuse, no shorts)

Add on fault when the V led is like ok but the led brightness is low nothing (on but like at 3%) the Q501 to q501 (there are some revision whit 1 to 4 mosfets) are short.
it triger the overload protection on u500 (mp3334) and no PWM signals on the gates of mosfets q502 q50e.
    My tv got 120v the 24-80v line and after q502 -503(some got 1 other boards 2) 150v .
When low brightness 24-80v the voltage on V led is the same when the circuit is step up DC to DC whit current control(150v).
    The tv was...

  • Re: Samsung UE32F5000 (UK model) with no display. Power supply is OK.

I just fix one of these and was a led i have to use my mulimeter testing evry led one by one and the lcd split is pure pain do it slow and carfull take your time.
The foil around the leds can be removed rotating the holders and then you have full acces to leds.
For test the led use decent multimerter on diode test and see if it show a tiny light and since the led pcb use white ink you have to scrach it for probe one by one.

v04 after flash 55-50V and goes down
v05 after flash 55-50V and goes down
v06 after flash 55-50V and goes down
Sonds like open circuit may be a cold joints on the leds o may be a dead open led on theses leds strips

Tcon board and panel itslef i dont se issues at all.
one question is, the led strips operate voltage are 30v or 60v? xxx ma may be 250ma? this point is important becuse for test whit fake load instead the screen led strips becuse if one led open or shorted made the led protecting shut donw the monitor also can tricked...

  • Re: what is this laptop SMD?

Laptops never use 19v inside they use a DC to DC converter and you get the B+ power used for be over 18.5v the B+ power also come from another DC to DC converter conected to battery.
You need the schematic of the board or atleast a photo near AC in.
Soory for my languaje (spanish)just joined today becuse was looking some info about a hp 27 inch monitor i win on ebay for fix and can wait for see whats is inside of it and the forum got some awesoem pics of the pcbs and if i fix it i will post the work around.
