Any ideas on my earlier post guys. I have gotten nowhere. I am trying to get my hands on another of the same unit so I can compare some voltages but so far no luck. Once again any help would be appreciated

Hello All,

I am having the same issue as everyone else only on a different model. NO LED backlight on an Asus V551L laptop. I have picture just no backlight and the screen and cable have been tested on another identical unit and it works fine (picture, backlight, etc.) so it has to be something on this board. I have attached pictures of the board if you need any more, let me know. Any help that could point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks...
