Got this monitor from a friend who said it had a slight flicker, which i have confirmed. Its in the upper part of the screen and i would've said its just a bad bulb except it seems there is a hissing noise that correlates to the flickers intensity. the hissing is coming from the back electronics.

i opened the board up expecting to see a bulging capacitor but didn't. any suggestions on how to progress ?
