Tracked down a replacement T-con board, installed friday and wow, better picture then before the failure. FYI, double check the cables, prior to buttoning up or better yet power up unit if possible before putting the back cover on. I had a cable ever so slightly work out of its slot. Repair took less then an hour thanks for the help

Greetings, a little back story replaced the caps after a failure a little over a year ago now there seems to be something new going wrong. When first powering up the set I get at first a ghosting effect in the back ground with a slight pixalition of red on some areas, this goes to a green pixalition on black areas, this varies in degrees of picture noise for the first thirty minutes or so before clearing up. I suspect the t-con board but wonder if something could be going on with my original repair. On powering up I do hear a click and the red led light flashs three time prior to coming on. I...

I have a Samsung ln52a550p3fxza, replaced the bad caps about a year ago, now have a strange issue when first powering up the tv, there appears to be off colored distortion through out the screen, then periods of green pixalition on black areas, after a period of time picture returns to normal, scanned through the forums, checked for other reports of this issue without any luck. I suspect T-con board but would like your opinions, Thanks
