has a power pcb BN44-00264A is this replaceable by BN44-00264C. from LE40B551A6W. don,t want to purchase if not compatible.

I am a retired tv / video/ sat engineer that had a repair shop after leaving Rumbelows and British relay as a senior engineer. Started when ITV first started as England's second channel. Long time. now 73yrs young. Still try to keep my hand in to help others in trouble with their tv's etc -
have a Sandstrom to S40LD1B10 with fault of not tuning DTV says no signal but shows good signal on cha 29 with pics etc (all fine, with good quality) tunes ok in tv to sky rf signal. any ideas -

Flashes on from standby then no screen/ or sound. then reverts to standby.
seems as though inverter not stabilising. can any one supply circuit or say which caps are on 14.5v rail? -

Found DP801 s/c, with fuse FM802 o/c. replaced both. but still a short circuit .
