My name is Erik. I'm a licensed aircraft mechanic and like to work on electronics in my spare time. I'm very involved with troubleshooting aircraft mechanical and electrical systems. Unfortunately, I have very little test equipment in my home to test board components for home electronics. I joined this forum in hopes to learn more and get assistance with troubleshooting the new age electronics.

In this thread the pictures are of the inverter board and the part is referenced as the power supply/inverter board. The eBay link is for the power supply board. Is the issue caused by the Inverter board (part number BA8AF0F01032) or the power supply board (Part number BA8AF0F01023-1). I have no burn marks on either board, but have the issue with the green light flashing when power is selected "ON", display flashes and then the TV shuts down and the red standby light is on.
