Hello all.

I'm relatively new to the electronics world (at least the DIY side of it) but am a quick study. I thirst for more knowledge and that insatiable need has led me here.

I will open by saying that I truly appreciate all the professionals in this very diverse field of engineering who use their time to help the hobbyists such as myself. Reading the first page of this thread was almost a little intimidating; reminding me of how much there is to learn, and that some of you here have spent lifetimes...
