Here are 2 pics of the tcon board. 1 pic of the screen. That is a pic of the wii using av plug. I could not get a pic on any of the 3 hd pluggs. Could this all be part of the main board problems? I am still looking around for a breakdown of the main board. I would like to follow the standby voltage to where the PS_ON voltage gets triggered....

Main Board must be a common problem with this tv. Sold out at most places. I found 1 on ebay for $79. I would really like to try and fix my own though with the help of this forum of coars. I attached some pics of screen....Leave a comment:

I am sure it could be tricky but I would like to try and trace where the problem is on the main board. I will solder resistor in place tomorrow and I will also look for a schematic on the main board. I would also like to thank everyone for their patience and help.Leave a comment:

screen came on. slightly blurry and discolored but hard to hold resistor in place and hit buttons and look at the screen. What does this tell us? did my measurements from U44 look bad?Leave a comment:

okay, took the PS_ON wire out of the plug or out of the harness. Jumped with a resistor. The back light come on. The vizio emblem stayed amber.

well picture is coming in and going out. Audio is fine but the picture will go out. The logo on the front will blink 1 slow then 1fast. Would that be the inverter? If its a bad LED, how do you fix?Leave a comment:

Power supply was not the problem. Same thing 5v stand by 0v on anything other prongs.Leave a comment:

I ordered a power supply for $49. PS_ON pin was 0 with all plugs on. With any thing I tried only could get the 5v stand by but the logo would turn white. I looked at the above link on inverter boards. I could not find any dis color or sign of anything burnt. I will update when I get the power supply if it fixes the problem or not.Leave a comment:

Yes not sure how but it got double posted. A mod can delete one of them. I am still uncertain of what caused the problem and what to do if it returns. any and all help would be appreciated.

the power supply # is 0500-0507-0340
I also disconnected all dc side plugs from ps plugged in and turned power on and got the same readings 5vdc on standby and 0 on all other pins.Leave a comment:

nothing comes on. Since the post I pulled the back off the tv. The only dc power I have at the power supply is 5v standby no other power. I assume the power supply is bad but i would like to try and troubleshoot the problem with some help. All the caps look good no bulging or leaking that I can see.Leave a comment:

Sharp lc-60le745u, blinking light
Hello all,
I have a sharp lc-60le745u with blinking light syndrome. 1 slow 1 fast will not turn on. I tried volume - channel - and plugged in with no change. I then tried channel - and input plugged in tv came and has been on since roughly 6hrs now. Should I not worry about it as long as its working? Is something going bad? Any thoughts or suggestions?

Hello all,
I have this sharp lc-60le745u will not power on. It has the blinking light 1 slow 1 fast. I tried channel - volume - and then plug in. There was no change. I then tried channel - and input and plugged in. TV came on there was no K on the screen it just came on and has been working since, about 2hrs now. I looked through the forum here and found the service manual. It looks like inverter or bulb problem by the blinks i was having. Should I be concerned or was it a fluke. Maybe a power surge or something. Any suggestions
