Well after all these forums tips (special thanks to budm) i got this tv working for good,it was effectively the d200 that was faulty, so with a good soldering iron i manage to change it, and restart the engine ,

I just found out that the voltage at pin 2 of the ic m200 is very unstable (going from.3 to 13 v constantly) and that pin is connected to the zener diode zd 200 ,can you tell me what kind of diode (not surface mount) that i could install .Leave a comment:

Then my second thought is can i use an external power supply for the 5v alone (i got one from an old video game ) because i remark that as soon as i plug the hdmi the screen goes out compare with video input that can last a couple of minutes.Leave a comment:

I just bought a psu that came from a 32av502r and i put it into my 37 av502r, it start but i get the same prob. as before i.e the 5v goes down and screen goes out,
Do you think that those psu are compatible, here are the pics ,also should i change the diode d200 as mention by Budm

Exactly, this is my board, D203,this is where i get 168 volts( both sides of diode) before the transfo... no voltages on the secondary side of transfo....Leave a comment:

So a shottky diode is more like a zener diode from what i see , the reading on both sides of the diode D 203 when power on is 168V.
Also i remark on the pic SJ that the diode d203 seems to be on the secondary side of the board, and on mine it is located on the primary side just before the smaller transfoLast edited by foudl; 02-06-2015, 03:56 PM.Leave a comment:

On the diode it's written T2D 89 , even if i google it ,i can't find any match,is there a diode more common that could replace D203 ?.

Oops ,my bad ,you're right, now the voltage out of the bridge is 168v, i can follow the voltage to the drain of Q300 (k3994 mosfet), but from there no voltage outLeave a comment:

I already took the diode out and it's open , the ground point that i use is from the primary side (where the screws attach the board to the tv frame.Leave a comment:

The fuse is ok ,i would like to know what kind of voltage i should get out of the bridge (BD001),right now i get something like 2.4 v , if i follow the line i get to diode d203 that is open, the diode # is T2D89, i google it and can't find anything that fit .

Toshiba 37AV502R PSU
I'm working on the power supply , and i want to know if i should have the voltages (24-12-5 V) even if it is plugged only to 120v (and not plugged to the other boards of the tv.
I tried to resolder the diode d200 and when i plugged it back the ic m200 blew right off, i changed the diode and the ic but since then there is no voltages coming out ... -

Bud you make my day, the symptoms my tv is suffering is exactly the same, i'll go get this diode in the beginning of the week and i'll get back to you.
