I have a picture again so the boards are fixed and we're making progress. Are there any tricks to getting the ribbon cables seated properly and how tough are those things? I feel like I'm going to tear them up tugging on them. I've tried reseating a couple of them 3 or 4 times with no luck.

I tried that and now the green light on the SC board comes on and the power button stopped flashing. It has to be the SD or SU board doesn't it, or am I missing something else? I checked continuity across my ground screws and that seemed fine...at least to me. I'm learning as I go here so all help is appreciated. I guess the next move is to contact Modus unless somebody has any other ideas...

I too have a TC-P55GT31 that had the 7 blinking lights. I sent my SC, SD and SU boards to Moduslink based on what I had read and thought was wrong. I just finished putting the boards back in and still have 7 blinking lights. If I unplug the ribbon cable and the 2 wire plug to the SC board I get 8 blinking lights just as I had before. Obviously my diagnosis was wrong so what do I need to check next?
