samsung qn55q7famxza blurry picture
Very blurry picture. Changed the one connect box and same problem. Tried disconnecting one side of the tcon but I guess that no longer shows half of the tv picture so I am kind of stuck. I would normally think the Tcon is the problem but other than ebay it is not in stock for a fair price, and on ebay it is $100.00. Hope anyone here can help.... -
Samsung UN55hu7200fxza dim top half of screen
This one the top half of the led strips are dimer than the lower half when the main board is plugged in. With the main board plugged into the power supply the voltages at pin 2 is 193v and pin 10 is 234v. When I unplug the main board from the power supply both pin 2 and 10 are 234v. I removed the panel and all of the led's look the same brightness so I am not sure if I am dealing with a bad set of led's or maybe a bad power supply. Any help would be appreciated.... -
LG 60uf7300-ut half of picture strobing
TV has half the picture strobing and no picture on the other half. If I remove the tcon connector to the panel on the affected side the strobing goes away but still not picture on the other side. I removed the cable from one of the boards along the bottom of the panel and the strobing goes away and I just get a solid white 1/4 picture. Any suggestions would as always be appreciated.

Update to this problem in hopes it will help someone else. Removed the two bad resistors on the far right (looking at the back) driver board (again thanks to nomoresonys) and now the tv works fine....Leave a comment:

Think I finally found the problem. I took nomoresonys advice and checked the driver board and found one of the flat ribbon cables that is between the right side driver boards was crimped. If I remove it the picture no longer flashes and if I put it back but not quite in straight I get a scrambled picture. Now I just need to find a undamaged flat ribbon cable to test my theory...Leave a comment:

Finally figured out it is a bad panel. I got one in with a cracked panel and it does the same thing. Hope this helps someone out there.Leave a comment:

Sorry, I misspoke. I mean that the panel is the problem. If I remember right (Customer picked it up after I determined it is the panel) and do not quote me I believe there is no tcon so that rules it out.Leave a comment:

thought I would add the voltages I get when the panel lights up at CNL801
1 thru 4, 18 thru 20 and 27 are gnd
7, 9 and 11 vamp 13v
13, 15, & 17 13v reads 13v
21, 23, 25 & 29 pwm 1.3v
8 od_LEV 3.34v
10 Fail_ct 3.34
12 OD_o/f 3.3v
14 blu_o/f 4.1v
16 Power_o/f 3.34v
22, 24, 26 & 28 PWM 2.25
30. ana_dim 2.5v

TV turns on then almost immediately shuts off and does this for as long as it is plugged in. I did remove power to the main board and the tv stays on. I put what I thought was a good replacement main board in and the same problem. I am now wondering if I am dealing with a bad panel.... -

So I tested both the pot which does adjust out of circuit and pin 6 of CN4009 which I thought was dropping but I found that it is steady at 250v but all other pins drop to 0v.Leave a comment:
