Re: Xerox xa7-19i - Stopped Working - Will Not Power On
Sorry for slow reply, has assumed auto subscribe to created threads. Also world most annoying internet with 100's of disconnects a day and 384kbps aint helping maters either.
primary cap?? which one is that?
Picture is from original capacitor and it must have got hot/bad as one leg was disconnected from body.
C10 & C11 220uf 25v I think are actually no good, one has a loose leg.
some of the zener diodes are off. 2 of the small surface ones are leaking back 1.18 (zd207)...

Xerox xa7-19i - Stopped Working - Will Not Power On
I have a Xerox xa7-19i Model: 900p, manufactured 2005.
It had a history of flickering but that went away when upper right corner was pressed down.
Last while it was very bad to start from cold and only did so with muliple presses of power switch over a good number of minutes. Got into habit of simple never turning it off.
Now it has chosen not to power up at all.
Points of note are blue power light barely lights and blinks. Monitor has a clicking or ticking noise from the boards.
When opened, there was yellow carbon stains so i am assuming...
