Late - as usual - If 124 is wire to wire, and container is 128, then each wire = 2, right – am I missing something?

Instructions for fixing dying LCD monitor/TVs landed me here. At the risk of being a bore: The instant the screen turns on press the menu button, select display brightness & reduce it to about 25%; save/exit. It beats replacing the LCD driver caps, yes it does. It's not my idea, but it's so cool I had to share it again, thank you. Did I mention it beats buying a new 52in TV and thank you, again? I'm a materials quality assurance specialist; I'd explain more but reading my job description several times rendered me utterly...
