I am having the same problem with my VA370M. Another thread suggested U409. Since you last posted in August did you get it working or di you buy another TV?

This sounds like my problem as well. I get power on, logo screen but will not boot beyond that. At first if I waited a few minutes it would turn on. Now its been off for a week and still will not turn on. I was checking caps and regulators with no luck. Tried plugging different video sources with no luck. Happened to press the input button on the TV and heard a noise like the tv shut-off and turned back on. Presto!!! I had video! worked for several days then quit again. Are we still thinking it is the EEPROM U409? I'ver read about the...
