G & S idles at 87
G & D continually goes up
D & S starts out negative turns positives and continually goes up
set multimeter to 2000k ohms not sure if i did it right

well generally if there are differences in power/main boards in the same model of monitor it's for a good reason i'd put money on a board without the two items i need not working with my monitor also i still need to find apropriate replacements for the two 1000uf 16 volt capacitors if anyone has suggestions it would be much appreciated also budm how do i test those points i don't know if i even have the right kind of volt meter mine doesn't measure microfaradsLast edited by sirswears; 11-20-2014, 09:24 AM.Leave a comment:

ya the resistor and the cap are gone i read somewhere they like to either burn up completely or explode i found nothing resembling them at all when i first opened the monitorLeave a comment:

i'm missing the Red ceramic capacitor and the pink resistor at C65 and R88
they've blown clean off

so i have a similar problem i removed the two 1000 microfarad caps from the top right section and im going to replace them soon but my board appears to have had an additional red ceramic capacitor with a pink resistor right next to it near the two common mode choke coils does anyone know the appropriate vales are this info would be much appreciatedLeave a comment:
