Did you ever get a resolution to your issue? I have the same issue.
XVT 473SV with dead backlight. Screen has video with a flashlight. Sound OK
I took of the back, my blue LED on the inverter stayed on.
I did not check voltages as that is not my area of knowledge.
Was going to replace the PSU and inverter but curious if you had a fix?

I am actually not in the electronics business at all, I do however fix people. I'm a physician assistant who has a passion for fixing other things as well.I do hope I will get some use confirmation from this form is it looks to be very interesting.Leave a comment:
