Just letting people visiting here know, letting the motherboard cook at 385 F for 8min did the job, it managed to stay open overnight, I could even bring it to school today
I've tried connecting it to another monitor, but there's just no image being displayed on any screen. After I press the power button, the fan starts, the hard drive seems to be active, but it never boots into windows, as pressing the power again turns it off instantly, instead of going in a shutdown sequence. I've tried removing as much hardware from it as possible, but it still doesn't help.
At this point, I'd like to look for a service guide for it, try to check if my voltages are right. Any idea where I could find one?
Re: New Members - please post your introductions here
Hi everyone I'm come here looking for some help on a probably dead laptop. I've came across bad cap in an other job, so when I found this website, I laughed a little bit. I hope I can find what I'm looking for here!
