Question about a fuse from an electric fireplace
I am trying to fix my sisters electric fireplace (you know the ones with fake flames). It gets no power whatsoever! I removed the main board and I seen a fuse that says "T2A 250V" on it. Its the kind that solders into the board. My question is this: Is this a slow blow fuse? I would imagine it is due to it being in a heater but I needed to be sure before I order some from Amazon. Thanks for any info. Pics attached....

Re: 150 Watt UV LED LIGHT
I will check the BR in a bit, have family arriving for Christmas. As to what I need that much glow power for, lol I think you're going to love this! I built an 8 foot tall and 4 foot wide glow in the dark sasquatch out of resin and glow powder (see attached pic). I have video on my youtube channel called "Green Man Productions" that you can watch if you are so motivated.Let me know what ya think of my Sasquatch....

Re: 150 Watt UV LED LIGHT
I just tested the Varister and there is 120 volts there on the left leg, nothing on the right leg.

Re: 150 Watt UV LED LIGHT
I get nothing at all at the fuse. I scraped the gel stuff off so I get bare metal but no voltage at all, which seems weird to me. I have not tried the Varister because I don't even get voltage at the fuse just before it.

Re: 150 Watt UV LED LIGHT
So they fuse isn't bad and the power cord is not bad but I don't get 120Volts to the fuse. This stuff is all surface mount so I'm not sure how to proceed from here (or sure if I even can). Any suggestions?

150 Watt UV LED LIGHT
Anyone know what the part in blue is and where I might get one? This 150 watt LED light stopped working after only about 6 months so I took it apart and visually all I can that may be bad is that part circled in red. It appears to be encased in resin but I can get to it and solder on a new one. Any help in identifying the part and where I might get a new one would be very appreciated....

Re: LF501EM5F No Power, Chirping/Beeping Transformer
I am also looking for the part# and/or UF and Voltage Ratings for that Surface Mount Cap C3214. If anyone has that, it sure would be nice of them to post it here. I can find similar caps on ebay and I usually buy from Digikey but I don't know what Voltage and UF Rating to order. Post 137 only says its a 270 Pizo Cap but that's not all the info needed for someone like me who is not a certified repair person of your degree(Respectfully)

LG 42LH30 with weird issue
[SIZE="5"]I have an LG 42LH30 that has power, but no sound or menus. The backlight works. Here is the weird part. If I am facing the TV and I put a very slight pressure on the very top right hand corner of the TV bezel (push straight back towards the wall) the TV menus will pop on and the tv works perfectly. I took the back off the TV and looked at everything and pushed on everything with a plastic rod to test for loose wires, etc and can find nothing loose. I am assuming a bad panel (or cold solder joint somewhere) but this in an uneducated guess. I can actually rig the TV to work by...

Re: Mr. Coffee BVMC-TJX37-RB power board
With an Ohm meter both of the thermal fuses test good.

Mr. Coffee BVMC-TJX37-RB power board
I know this is a weird question lol, but I want to repair this board that came out of my coffee maker. It just suddenly stopped having power. I took it apart and this is the only board in the coffee pot. it looks like it has a blown resister. I can solder a new one in there but I have no idea what to get to replace it with. Anyone know what that is? I circled it in red where its labeled R3. Thank you in advance for any help. Is there a fuse on this board? If so, where?...

LED POwer Consumption
I am trying to find out how long an LED will last on a 9 volt battery if anyone knows how to figure this out. (I do not)The Information on the LED is as follows:
* 9 volt 3mm Red / Blue Alternating
* 24 gauge red and black wires, 8 inches long
* Input voltage: 5~7 Vdc.
* Low power consumption (<20mA)
* Very bright! 5000 Mcd
Any help would be greatly appreciated. The LED will be wired directly to a 9 volt battery. I am also interested in wiring in a photo voltaic device to make it only come on at dark if that can be done.

Re: Sharp LC-32SB24U - backlight bulbs
I've figured out its just the bulbs. Very common problem with this TV. A work around is to jump the C7558 Capacitor on the backside of the AC Board (green side) with a small piece of wire (I don't advise you to do this though.) It is located about an inch below the BD9883 chip. Once I did that I just had to clear out the trouble codes in the tv, unplug it, wait a few seconds, plug it back and wallah, it works perfectly! I can tell when the screen is dark that a CCFL bulb needs to be replaced but when there is a picture on the tv it looks perfect!...

Sharp LC-32SB24U - backlight bulbs
I have a TV (Sharp LC-32SB24U) and the power light just blinks. I've reset the TV and from what I read on the internet this is protection mode due to bad backlight bulbs (not the inverter from what I've read) and I was wondering if anyone has any information on how to replace the backlight bulbs and where I may obtain them? Thank you in advance for any info and Happy Thanksgiving
I read this (below) on a website that describes exactly what my tv is doing and this is what lead me to believe its the backlight bulbs. I dont see any swollen caps or burnt spots on the ac board. ...
