first this is my first recaping made alone,


i nedded 2 caps 1000 uF 10v , i had another board, so i desoldered the old capss with a solder ( 50w ) . and took the caps from the old board .

i than did not had a desolder , so i used a big pin to open the holes for the caps, i put in place the "new" caps , i used snad paper to smooth the legs of the caps . i used asmal simple solder ( 30 W ),
i soldered the caps inplace , and the board is working now.

i replaced 4 caps 2700 uF 6.3v ---> with 4 caps 2700 uF 10 v ,

the desoldering was done with a profesional desolder with vacum .

it took some time to take ot the old caps .


after replacing the board looks ok . ( installed win 2000 and working )

i looked for caps : 2700 uf 6.3 v 105 c


i found 3300 uF 16v that are labeled -40 c + 85 c
the maker is uTECH


can i use this caps :?:

i have a shuttle av11 mobo ( 370 soket) that have four 2700 uF 6.3 v caps , all of them leaking.

i can not find 2700 uF 6.3 v caps.

can i use greater UF and volt values ?, if yes what kind ?
