    I saw your reply to "Re: Sharp Aquos LC-46D64U Help ". I cant seem to get the panel off. The corners seem stuck to the metal case holding the ccfls. I unscrewed all the silver screws from the front. Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks Ira

    I have The same TV with the same issue. the TV originally had the 1 power light flash per second. I tricked the set on with the vol- input and power buttons held down while plugging in the set. the set came on in service mode with the K on the screen then flashes, strobes and shuts off with the same error 1 blink per second. so then I did the hold down of vol+ chan- then push the power button which allows the set to come on then do its strobe thing then the backlights fail but the set will stay on.     TLX-04244b the screen turns on for a second and then buzzes and shuts off.

    I have fixed 2 of these now both times they just had bad bulbs. same 3 bad bulbs in both TV's. replace those and you are good to go..

    If you really watch the screen when it comes on, you can see a shadow across the screen where the bad bulb is.
