Thanks to Budm and all who contributed to this thread. I have just used the info to repair a LG 42 with tab bond issues. The set has been running well for the last 8 hours,let's hope she lasts :-)

Hello to all and thanks for having me.
Been meddling in the backs of TV's for around a month.
Latest fix was a 50 LG PLASMA purchased today for £50 with solarised overlayed picture.
