Tcon didn't help mine. Helped a little. I'm gonna tear it down again and check out the tabs this weekend with the help of component cooler and hair dryer. Any way you can rule out the bad panel. Still got my hopes up on this one. Hate to see it go.

Here are the things i have done.

Unplug and re-seat all cables and ribbons from main>tcon, tcon>panel. No change in picture. I havent cleaned the ribbon contacts just yet. What could i use to clean them good without causing damage to the ribbon cables?

Tear down to just the panel exposing tab bonds. Upon visual inspection, none of the tabs look corroded or burnt. Everything looks in pretty good shape. The tabs on this model are at the bottom and i didn't see any evidence of liquid causing...

Alright guys, coming at you with a Samsung 46" LED that I picked up for $40. Hoping that I can get some expert advice to see if I can bring it back. I've researched and have been digggin up info on this issue. Ordered a new Tcon for it but they sent me the wrong part. I gotta send it back. Just wanted to post on here to see if I should even try to get a new Tcon or just get a refund. Anyways let me know. Lets discuss this thing.
