Thanks to everyone providing guidance and insight into this issue. I received a replacement Y Sustain module and it has repaired the screen. Now, off to find another project TV and an O'scope for my further forays.
I know, I know, I sold my Tek 2445 and regret it every day. I have a Y sus module on the way but this is an expensive way to try and fix this set. I have an electronics reseller in the area that has used scopes. I will go take a look and pick one up.
Thanks Flocko,
I will acquire a Y SUS and update once received and installed. I also see what appears to be a pretty thorough repair kit for these boards. Any thoughts on that? I have a good amount of soldering experience so that does not bother me. Looks like a refurb board is about $125 these days, and the kit is about $34. Thoughts on this? Too difficult a R&R?
Thank you for this step. Ran set in self test and still see the issue. Couple pic's attached. As an FYI had to jumper PS-on to low to get set to start.
Hi,
I have a Samsung PN60E550D1FXZA Plasma with a born date of December 2012. Has pink noise color issue. see picture. TV powers on, connects to network, updated the firmware, can watch video but there is a pink cast to the display. Tried the BN96-22114A module, but no joy with that.
As a note: I looked at all caps and found nothing visually bad. I do hear a very slight buzz from the top left and right main boards.
thoughts on next steps?

Re: New Members - please post your introductions here
Hello all,
After 37 years in hitech decided to get back to some of the fixing that I enjoyed so much. Already fixed one Samsung LED TV with bad backlight strips. So now on to the next project. Just picked up a defective 60" Samsung Plasma with a born date of December 2012. Hoping for some assistance in isolating the bad part. Will post thread with details and pictures.
