Re: Dyp-42w2plus bn44-00194a
Hi Nogger
thanks for the guidance , I will have to get back to you with the readings on Wednesday as I am on a business trip tomorrow and not back till Wednesday, I think I may have written something down wrong , none of the fuses have blown they are all intact , I am thinking QX801 /802 are blown .

Re: Dyp-42w2plus bn44-00194a
I have checked QS801 / 802 across the 2 outside legs and I am getting 10.5 ohms on each and when I check the outside legs of QX801 / 802 I get no readings at all....

Re: Dyp-42w2plus bn44-00194a
I have checked all the fuses I can see but this fuse you are talking about FXF801 seems to elude me is it like a normal fuse ?? as I cant seem to see FXF801 on the circuit board, also I have removed just QX801 for the time being and I get no resistance across the 2 outside legs with my meter am I checking this right as I have seen somewhere that I might have to build a little circuit to check the fet ??...

Hi Neelix the relays , sorry for the confusion , the relays switch on and then switch off straight away when I ground PS_ON .

Re: Dyp-42w2plus bn44-00194a
I have replied , I explained I was getting -0.06V at the points I have been asked to check and I was getting 5V at STD_5V , and that I have checked the fuses , am I not replying properly as my posts seem to be sending , but I also need to check things before I reply and it would now appear to have a blown QS801 which I need to get a replacement but I am unable to update you until I get a new one and retest the board , I am not ignoring
anyone but I am new to this and trying to learn and understand at the same time !!!!!!!!!!!

I have checked voltages at VCC_L, VCC_P and VCC_S and I have no voltages well I do but it is reading -0.06V ??

Neelix
I have checked voltage at pin 15(VCC) and all I am getting is -0.06V , getting nothing at 12V_OUT or at 18V_AMP !!
Flocko
Still getting the relays switching on and then going off straight away when I ground PS - on !!
Pretty flummoxed now ?

Re: Dyp-42w2plus bn44-00194a
Hi guys
The saga continues......I have changed out the relays for brand new ones, I now have a strong 5v at standby which is encouraging....or is it ,at the d5.3v its reading .756v so I guess I have a problem with the fets, trouble is I seem to be doing a lot of guessing.......

Re: Dyp-42w2plus bn44-00194a
I have done what you advised ps on to grd which activated the relay (clicked on ) but turned of straight away so I am surmising that I could possibly have a relay problem aswell as voltages at pin 8 and 9 which are D5.3V are only reading -.250v would I be correct in my assumption ??

Re: Dyp-42w2plus bn44-00194a
Hoping someone can help, I have pulled the power board from my Samsung tv, as I keep getting a clicking from the relays on the hot side of the board which is a DYP-42W2PLUS , 220V input supply, I have checked all the caps and all seem to fine . When I disconnect the plug from the CN801 port the clicking stops, I get 4.86V at the standby but nothing else 12v measurement non existent , I also get no readings from Vs205 or Va63.
Now I am assuming that a voltage regulator has gone down ,but I have no idea where to start looking for the fault if anyone...
