Re: Insignia NS-55L260A13 LCD TV Won't stay on
Update on my television. I ordered brand new inverter boards for it and installed them and low and behold. Same problem. TV powers on and says please wait with only half of the screen back lit then after the Please Wait... goes away the back light(s) turn off.

Re: Insignia NS-55L260A13 LCD TV Won't stay on
Lucky me i've got a new problem. While the TV was functional with one only one inverter board running, i decided to try to hook up the other one and see if I could get them both to work, well it didnt work and now after unplugging the slave to just run the master, it only comes on for around 5 to 10 minutes sometimes longer and then shuts down, sound and all. I have a new set of inverter boards on order but this problem seems to be escalating. I plugged in the slave and master together and same problem and the Slave doesnt even light...

Re: Insignia NS-55L260A13 LCD TV Won't stay on
The only thing that makes that hard to believe is that this is a different set of inverter boards and they do the exact same thing as the other ones did. I guess these are bad as well although they were guaranteed to work.... One other question, at the inverter board i have pins called BR11 BR12 SW1 and SW2 and voltages are as follows when inverter board not functioning but TV on:
BR11- 0V
SW1- 4.4V
BR12- 2.8V
SW2- 2.9V
Are these normal?

Anyhow i remove the back cover and i started to trouble shoot, the only thing i have found out so far is that if you unplug the back light inverters the tv comes on just fine and plays audio and puts a picture on the screen(although...
