Can anyone tell me if the backlight ccfls are replaceable with others, new or used from other makes and models of tv's. finding parts lists are impossible. I have found ccfls in the proper length and diameter. Just don't know if they're interchangeable.

Good day, all. New to this forum. I was pleasantly surprised to find this site while searching for troubleshooting help. Seemed like most Google results led me to parts I didn't know I needed yet. Anyway, I'm electronic tech working for a government agency. We do a lot of troubleshooting down to cards then swap. I do my tinkering at home with broken tv's and pcs belonging to co-workers and relatives. They're cheap, so I stay busy.

I date back to days of Commodore Vic 20. It still works.
