    Thanks for the help so just buy a new u18 eeprom and replace it on the board and it will most likely fix the issue?

    here are some pictures do you need me to solder off the metal shields on the board to the left if so I can and then I can post more pics also let me know if I could get any closer and where you would like closer pics. also if I uploaded the pictures wrong just say something I am new to posting in forums and would appreciate help so I don't piss off the guy who could potentially help me...

    I will try to load pictures as soon as possible I am in the process of soldering what I belive to be heat shields off of the only two boards since they cover a lot of components

  • help vzio turns on then off

    I have a vizio tv model e420VO and the problem I am having with it is that the tv turns on and displays the vizio logo on the screen and then the tv shuts off. I have power cycled the tv plugged it into other outlets and tried different power cords. Everything seems to work fine but it shuts off after displaying the logo on the screen so I took off the back and I couldnt see any blown capacitors or burn marks. I can't afford to pay for the fix but If you can help me find the problem I am crafty at finding replacement parts cheap and I am very handy at fixing things. Also if it helps there is a...
