Hello. The dump is 16MB in size, but in the archive it is 8MB. This dump is intended for writing to SPI flash using a programmer. I used RT809H, for example.
That is, just extract the dump from the archive and simply write it with the programmer....Last edited by evgenymgv; 12-04-2023, 05:35 AM.

Thank you very much, the laptop came to life! Could you tell me what the problem was? And how did you manage to fix it? If you want, please send me a private message. Once again thank you very much!...

Re: Panasonic CF-20 no screen
Still relevant. I really need a working dump! Or information on how to collect a dump for flashing the programmer from the update from the support site. Also, it might be possible to check my dump and fix it...

Panasonic CF-20 no screen
Hello, dear forum users! I have a Panasonic CF-20A0198VM. After the update, the laptop rebooted, the screen was black with no image. Disabling the BIOS battery did not help. I am attaching a BIOS backup. Thank you in advance for your help!...

Re: LG Gram 17Z990 (EAX68255702 Rev 1.3) BIOS needed
Thanks for the info. However, due to certain circumstances, I, unfortunately, do not have the opportunity to purchase firmware on foreign resources. In addition, I have not seen this firmware anywhere (I mean 15Z990)....

LG Gram 17Z990 (EAX68255702 Rev 1.3) BIOS needed
Hello, dear forum users. I really need a dump for LG Gram 17Z990. The BIOS flash drive is out of order, it cannot be read by the programmer.
LG Gram 17Z990 (EAX68255702 Rev 1.3)
Thank you very much in advance!!!

Re: RCUnlocker
The issue was resolved as follows: the update was downloaded from the official HP website, the BIOS region was cut out and inserted with a replacement into my dump. The ME region was cleared. SPI 16mb is erased, "glued" BIOS file is written in SPI 32mb. DMI data entered manually. Everything works without errors.
P.S "Clean" firmware HP 850 G5 (without DMI, clear ME) is attached, maybe someone will need it....Last edited by evgenymgv; 06-23-2023, 06:26 AM.

Re: RCUnlocker
Yes, I know. The chip was erased before me, or rather, he just did not exist. I bought a laptop that no longer turns on. Therefore, unfortunately, I do not have a "native" 16mb dump....

Re: RCUnlocker
The situation is this: the laptop was working, the BIOS update was automatically downloaded. An error occurred during the update process. Laptop stopped turning on. A dump was downloaded from the forum, the ME region was cleared and flashed with a programmer. The laptop turned on, but there was a warning about a problem with the security device. Attached is the downloaded file.
P.S. SPI chip 16Mb was erased before the dump was written...

Re: RCUnlocker
Hello. My HP 850 G5, after flashing the dump, gives a security device problem warning at startup. I read your post#607. Explain, please, how and with what to clear the VSS region. Thank you very much in advance.
