I'm getting 8 blinks and when i disconnect the SS33 cable that comes from the main board to the SS board i'm getting 6 (after some seconds) blinks. Then when i disconnect the flat-cable bridging between board C1 and C2 the TV turns on and stays on.

So is it wise to replace the SS print and the C1 print? Or can there be more or other problems?

Are there other things i can test, to see if it's the A-board?
Is it possible that i fried other boards as well?
Could it be that i fried the panel itself?

p.s. I've followed the troubleshooing guide you linked in another thread.

My TV is a Panasonic P55VT50e.

My TV has the yellow blob issue (which isn't that bad, but I was recently suffering intensely under it). So I tried to unscrew the SC board to see what happens when I lift the board from the chassis a little bit. Then I heard a 'poof'. And immediately knew I blew the SC board and started measuring. And yes there was a full short circuit on the SC board (at this point I did not even look at the amount of blinks). I even found the shorted MOSFET, but I thought it would be best to order a new(2nd hand) SC board.
