Re: Samsung PS50C6900 clicking and won't turn on

Another update, bought same tv again with cracked screen but good boards, replaced y-main, y-buffer, x-main (again), x-buffer, power board (again), logic board and all ribbons and cables. TV powered up with screen showing for a split second then black, sound still working. After that the x-main started smoking then tv turned off and started clicking as if trying to turn on. Guessing that's another x-main blown but what is causing it? Is it possible the plasma screen is dud and I should just give up? Somebody please help....

Bought this plasma second hand which worked perfect for 24 hours then refused to turn on, now when plugged in the red light blinks 3 times and makes a clicking sound with each blink followed by nothing, read that it could be bad capacitors so took the back off to look at the power board and all seemed cosmetically fine, changed the board anyway for an identical one out of a plasma with cracked display yet the problem persists, with x-sus disconnected it powers up first time but with a really fuzzy picture, with both x+y-sus disconnected it powers up with start up sound but no picture, guessing...
