  • Re: foxconn capacitor issue

    hi there
thanks for good advice, foxconn engineers were onto me today and said just to finish my pc build and boot up the board, they said it wont do any damage and if i do have any problems get back onto them, i dont know if its because of the cap and its position it may not be that important?
i have ordered replacement caps off big pope and if i have any issues i will just replace the cap as he had ones nearly excatly the same as whats on the board already.
thanks for all you guys help this is a very friendly and helpful site....

    hi guys
    thanks for the reply

  • foxconn capacitor issue

    hi guys
this is my first post so hello to all,
i have recently purchased a motherboard on ebay which was "new", when i recieved it i noticed that one of the capacitors was knocked to the side, now i sent the pic of it to foxconn and they said return motherboard which will leave me down 50 pound sterling because of postage, more than cost of board.
the capacitor says on it 6I 100 16v, so is this a 100uf 16v capacitor.
also foxconn states on there x38a board that the capacitors are solid so what type do i need to buy and do you know where i can get hold of...
