Re: Samsung un58h5202af no power..no clicks or lights
I just repaired this model with same problem repaired PS with Q9101c and set of leds from Shopjimmy 22 of the LEDs were shorted but the strips came on with tester (uneven voltage draw depending on how many on each strip shorted) TV worked perfect but be sure to do firmware updates as some help limit LED current. also turn down all the backlight settings in all modes!

Re: Samsung un60eh6003f horizontal lines
These don't have a metal frame retaining the panel just outer bezel plastic holding the panel. usually moisture or cleaning fluids get under the bezel and mess up the connections, Last week I fixed a UN50EH6003f that had bars-- I found corrosion on one of the bottom drive strips. I scrubbed the strips with 91% Alcohol with a toothbrush while leaving the set on it's back with the bezel removed. after it dried I tested it running without the bezel and all was ok after 2 days on.

Re: Whirlpool Combi-oven blows fuse, please help.
The most important thing I saw in your pics is the arced out hole in the waveguide mica in pic 3 the magnetron is probably shorted and that's why the relays are arced (they may still be useable) remove the two HIGH Voltage wires from the magnetron and the HV single wire from the secondary winding of the transformer to the Cap with the rectangular diode on it (check to see if either the cap or diode are shorted) With the three connections unhooked the unit should be able to turn on and not blow fuses (that method unloads any magnetron...

Re: LG plasma tv behaving very odd
I just fixed a 50PN4500 and it would shutdown every 15 minutes or when menus change. I found the screws on the Y-sus were loose and I had to re-tin the screw hole contact areas (solder thinly applied) all problems vanished

Re: LGLN575s-ZE backlight
Locktite makes a supergel in a plastic bottle that you squeeze two blue side bars to dispense the glue. Also the old glue spots need scraped off smooth and the lenses put on level.

Re: LG47LN5700 With no image
The LED's fail on this model Shopjimmy sells complete sets of LEDs to keep them from failing LG has a firmware upgrade the MUST be done that limits the maximum current to the backlights! also you should turn down all the customer backlight settings in the menu to about 60-80% of max (at max the LEDs overheat!)

Re: lg 47le5400 powers up, black screen, no sound
I have 4 sets a 42LE5400, 2each 47LE5400 and a 55LE5400 all are dead (some power the led and backlights work when jumped. All these have a BGA processor under a large heat sink and "cooking" the main does get them to run for a short while. All the used boards and repairs offered are "cooking the board" nobody is reballing them! to complicated and expensive! the LN series has a smaller processor that seems to last.

Re: LG Dyrer Dley1201w
I repair LG Appliances for a living and I suspect one of these: door switch, belt tension switch (on motor bracket) or a thermal fuse (on blower housing) the service manual is:
MFL62119959.pdf and you probably can google it and download it. Also check that both sides of the 240volts (1/2 of the supply could be out or a loose connection) to the center terminal.

Re: RCA LED50B45RQ LCD Flatpanel powers off right away
tvtanner is right! Bad LEDs is the problem in these sets! I've done at least 10 all the leds are lousy and when new over driven at 100% I replace all the leds with hot air and reglue the lenses. make sure to reduce backlight settings to 75% they run cooler. I got into the service menu and looked for limiting but couldn't find it.

Re: LG LN5700 logo flash then dark screen
LG has replacement strip kits (all strips) for about $60 Shop Jimmy sometimes has them new too.
after replacing or repairing the LEDS a Firmware update MUST be installed (Limits backlight current)

Re: Samsung ln52a650 power on off with starting sound and clicking
I have found that the gray heat compound (they call chocolate) sometimes gets slimey and that broken down chemical can be resistive and short out parts! I found it first in Sharps, then RCA CTC169 Pip Modules, Mits modules and samsungs! Replace all the compound with fresh DRY stuff after washing the effected chips with Acetone or 91% alcohol.
