Re: Panasonic DMP-BDT220 Wont power
Any instructions on how to test caps with a multimeter? I found a guide elsewhere on the forum but it was vert vague. Also not sure what to set the multimeter to in order to test.

Panasonic DMP-BDT220 Wont power
Hey guys. New here but looking to help as much as i can aswell.
Recently was given a Panasonic DMP-BDT220 Bluray player. Does not power on whatsoever. When i plug the unit in, i can hear an eletronic whine coming from the power supply unit. I opened up the player, and looked at the fuse and all the caps, and they all seem to be intact (I dont have a meter or any knowledge for testing caps). By intact i mean no obvious buldging or exploding caps. Pretty lost with this, but id love to get it working. I can provide high-res images of the power board if needed. Thanks for anyone who...
