Magnavox 42" LCD Help

I have a four year old Magnavox 42" LCD model #42MF439B/F7. Just the other day I attempted to turn it on and the green power button kept blinking with no picture. Would the typical problem be the power supply circuit board? I do have some soldering experience so would it be a possible DIY job? If there is a board that covers this I would appreciate the like to trying to fix this issue myself.
