A question about this tv issue, does it still seem like its the mainboard issue even though I can never turn on or off the tv because as soon I plug in the power cord the front red lights start doing the blinking code sequence.
So will a bad mainboard cause the power supply from not even fully turning on the tv and such? I sent the mainboard back to the ebay seller he said he can send me another board before giving me a refund. thanks

I got it used on ebay supposedly pulled from working TV with cracked or bad screen. I contacted the seller he's going to send me another mainboard. I'll do voltage later today. Thanks...Leave a comment:

You say " form the main board" but you mean from the main board right? So the issue is the main board bad? I would like to learn a little bit so it should be steady and not go lower than 2.5 volts right and what does the 3.3 mean?

here are each pins with the readings my multimeter was set to the dial of 20 vdc:
1- I know this is ground 0.00v GND
2- 0.01v 0D_on
3- from 0.10v to 0.20v B13v
4- 0.40v PWM_DIM
5- 0.10v B13v
6- from 0.10v to 0.20v N.C
7- 0.10v Vamp
8- 0.00v BLU_On/Off
9- 0.10v Vamp
10- 0.00v GND
11- 0.00v GND
12- 0.00v GND
13- 0.01v B5v
14- 5.31v A5v
15- 0.01v B5v

OK so I have to plug in and turn on the tv right? actually tv wont necessary turn on because right away from plugging it in the red light bottom right corner of the tv will start the light code sequence but maybe that's enough to test.
The black probe I put against a metal screw or chassis right then touch each pin and write down the readings right?Leave a comment:

Check out this video same exact model code I have and same symptoms with the lights flash sequence, the fix in the video was a new led backlight part, one of the led's was burnt. Does one single burnt led cause it to not turn on?

Sorry the tv has to be plugged in and with the red front lights flashing right? btw the picture you posted is not the board i have not sure if your helping someone else and you thought I was them.
In the picture you gave me I see a similar connector on this board but it doesn't say cn1 says another number and in writing it has voltage readings of 1,3,5,7 etc pins it should be reading Im assuming, nothing that says stb like you said....Last edited by pctektgg; 04-22-2015, 07:11 PM.Leave a comment:

heres the pictures there's 2 each for the power and main board, and one for that tcon cable I think that's what its called.
Also got a question about fuses I see typically in tvs like this those cartridge white ceramic type fuses like this power board has how would you know if they are bad it will have a burnt black appearance to it right? I have a samsung led model un40d6000sfxza, that as of last night it simply turn off on its own and now it has no power and seems likes its trying to tell me something with blinking red light code.
The sequence goes like this: on, on, very slight pause, on, on, very slight pause, on, on, very slight pause, on, on, very slight pause, on, on, after this 10th count it goes to a longer pause like its starting all over with the 2 at a time blinks sequence up to 10 counts again and starts all over.
