Re: Iiyama b2475hds died.
Interesting similar problem except with the outputs, luckily he had warranty.

Re: Iiyama b2475hds died.
I did not since there is no power in the monitor anyways.
If by the driver circuit you mean the the second board(logic) yes I did carry out tests there, everything seems fine except for the fact that there is the fluctuating current in there at one of the pins of the voltage regulator.

Ordered all of the caps should have them within a week as the warehouse in my town needs to import them.

Re: Iiyama b2475hds died.
@lexwalker the 5v rail is 100% stable coming into the logic board however the dim line is fluctuating from 0.33v - 3.3v.

Re: Iiyama b2475hds died.
I have circled the bad capacitor also I noticed that one of the legs on the voltage regulator is missing ? At least it seems like it....

Re: Iiyama b2475hds died.
At one of the capacitors the voltage is fluctuating between 2 and 5v

Re: Iiyama b2475hds died.
The monitor is 2.5 years old, 2 years guarantee, I wrote to iiyama despite that but they havent bothered to respond and I will let you know what I am ordering.

@Lexwalker I will look and order those today, hopefully that will help the issue. Thanks for your input.

226 AC on the one beside mains 5v dc on the one beside connector

The black fuses are fine, checked all of the resistors on the main board all of them seem fine.

Re: Iiyama b2475hds died.
The Lelon capacitors are indeed on the 5v rail. Should I refer to the good caps thread in order to replace them ?

Re: Iiyama b2475hds died.
All the capacitors on the logic board are Lelon too.
The big brown one is KXG and the other brown ones are KY.

Re: Iiyama b2475hds died.
The monitor is completely dead it does not do anything, there is no power supplied to the control panel I think as it doesnt work and the light does not light up at all, I was not able to turn off the monitor as it would turn itself back on at times but when the comuter was turned on again it would not respond to signals and I had to pull the power cord and wait for a while before I could plug it back in and power the monitor, the button would work then.
Edit: Yes the 2 blue caps are Lelon the rest are RubyconLast edited by khorne55; 08-02-2014, 03:43 AM.

Re: Iiyama b2475hds died.
There is 5.17V going into the connector that goes to the logic board.

Hey, I have checked the capacitor and I got 320V dc.

Re: Iiyama b2475hds died.
I havent checked the voltage at the connector, but there is continuity between live and neutral of the AC main, the two fuses are fine as well.

Iiyama b2475hds died.
Hey,
So for the past two weeks I have been experiencinig problems with my monitor as I had to take out the power cord, wait for a few minutes then plug it in to make the monitor work. But as of yesterday that does not work anymore.
I have opened the monitor up, and browsed a good few threads to familiarise myself with the issues other people had, of course most of the time the issue are capacitors. I am no expert but from what I see the capacitors seem just fine, I have tested multiple parts with a multimeter and most things seems just fine.
Thank...
