Thanks for your reply. I thought I'm not going to get any response, hence my delayed communication. Anyway--back to the TV. I had someone do the repair for me, and now the tv is working properly. Thanks again.

PN64E8000 flickering/strobing/flashing
Hi everyone. I was wondering if anyone has encountered this problem and found a fix for it. Please help. The TV works as it should except for the constant flickering/strobing/flashing of the picture. Model number PN64E8000. I read that the power supply on these models usually fail, but since I have a picture and the tv responds to the remote, does this mean I have to look elsewhere? -
